As Society of Zambezi Psychology (SZP) we acknowledge that “In year 2016, Allied Health Professional Council of Zimbabwe (AHPCZ) developed Psychologist Training, Registration and Practice in Zimbabwe Regulations and they have been in use for the past five years.” And also “Over the past few years, in Zimbabwe and beyond the profession has witnessed a lot of changes and as such AHPCZ is currently in the process of reviewing these regulations to meet the desired standard.”

We therefore make our kind and humble submission on your call “on practitioners to review and make submissions on areas that need attention”. The 2016 regulations to us remain a structure on which Psychology in Zimbabwe can continue to build in for a much better psychology.

Comporting to the mores of building a better psychology we do hereby propose these submissions which should be read together with the regulations of 2016 as they are page related.
